I had a wonderful stay at the Palais De Chine Hotel. The location is unbeatable, right next to Taipei Main Station, making it easy to explore the city. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I particularly enjoyed the luxurious bathtub in my room. However, the lighting could be better; it felt a bit dark in the room, and the bathroom configuration wasn't the most convenient. Overall, it was a great experience, but some areas could use improvement.

I was given a free upgrade to an Executive room. While I appreciated the extra bedside table and complimentary earbuds, both the Executive and Superior rooms shared the same size. The open design with clear glass doors for the shower felt awkward, especially with the bathtub situated right by the door. Overall, the room was modern and equipped with a warm bidet seat, which I loved.
